Description: Dale Bronenkant grew up on the Allis Chalmers brand tractors. His dad owned a CA that was bought new in 1952 from Littge Brothers in Altenburg, Missouri. It was the first tractor that Dale drove because it had the hand clutch, which made it easier to stop. The CA was used on the farm to plow, disk, sow and plant crops, pulled a 60 Allis Chalmers combine, pulled hay wagons, pulled a manure spreader, pulled logs out of woods, and was put on a buck saw. Dale's sons Scott and Greg also learned to drive tractors on the CA. The tractor was sold in the early 1990's, we tried to track the owners, but was unsuccessful. This tractor was owned by a local farm family and was bought at their farm auction in 2012. Dale's dad and Mr. Schroeter would have conversations after church about their tractors. They both there happy with their tractors. The tractor was restored in 2019. Dale has another CA he uses to mow pastures and road right-aways. He also has several other Allis Chalmers tractors, implements, and lawn tractors.
