Description: The Avery Steam Traction Engine tractor weighs in at a whopping 24,180 pounds with 22 horsepower at drawbar and a two-cylinder steam engine. We believe that this is the only one of this model that still exists today. By taking in water from a water source and converting it into steam, it can power a threshing machine by a rotating pulley with a belt attached to it. It was also used for pulling a plow. This tractor was built by Avery Company in Peoria, Illinois.
